15 MINUTE MORNING WORKOUT ROUTINE
To me, there is something very peaceful about the morning time. I enjoy waking up early before anyone else in my house wakes up. I have my coffee and spend time with Jesus. On the weekends I catch up on blog posts, reading and other tasks that I like to complete when it is quiet.
I find that mornings are also a great time to fit in exercise. Working out in the morning gives me a boost of energy, keeps me from putting off my workouts later in the day and it puts me in a better mood all day long. Check out this article on HuffPost Healthy Living for more benefits of working out in the morning.
Another great thing about morning workouts, is they do not have to be long OR take up a lot of time. Today I am sharing with you a 15 minute morning workout routine which can be done right in your own home. It's quick, effective and you can even do it in your PJ's if you want. ;)
For this workout all you will need is a little living room space (or other room), a timer, a jump rope, shoes and some water. All of the other exercises are done with your bodyweight. Repeat the entire workout, including your rest period 3 times through.
You could always do the circuit more times if you have the time. Be sure to check out my workout disclaimer here before starting, as this workout may not be for everyone.
This is a workout you can complete before heading out for your day. Just set your alarm 15 minutes earlier and you will be all set to fit in this quick 15 minute morning workout routine.
