My 21 Day Wellness Habit Challenge
It has been said that it takes 21 days to create a habit. I've decided to put this theory to the test and create some wellness habits of my own over the next 21 days.
A video I recently watched on YouTube titled 23 Habits of Highly Successful People by Aileen Xu of Lavendaire.com inspired me to take my wellness habits to the next level. I want to create some habits that I will stick to in the area of wellness and mental health.
So what habits am I committing to? Well I actually started this challenge today so I am on the right track. The wellness habits I want to stick to over the next 21 days include:
- Reading my devotional / praying every morning when I wake up.
- Writing out thoughts and gratitudes daily.
- Working out every morning even if it is just a 10 minute walk.
- Getting to bed in enough time to get 7 full hours of sleep.
I wanted to keep my list of wellness habits small so that they would be manageable, realistic and attainable. I am a strong believer that consistency is the key to reaching your goals. I also believe this challenge will help me create some wellness habits I can feel really good about.
