F45 Training Class Review
Through my membership with the FitLo Denver passport program I get to try out different fitness classes around Denver. Last week we tried out F45 Training in Highlands Ranch. To learn more about FitLo go here and maybe join us for a workout if you are local.
First of all before I even get into the review I will just say this class was tough, and in my opinion I don't think it would be for beginners. They do tell you to go at your own pace but still!!! My husband went with me and he also thought it was a pretty tough workout.
According to their website:
F45 Training workouts are designed to unify the muscle groups of the body and to make you look, move and perform better in all aspects of your life.
F45 has different classes each day to mix things up. They said that you will never really do the same workout when you come. The days can be a cardio focused day or a strength focused day. We went on a cardio day.
During the workout we did, I believe there were 18 different stations that we rotated through. The instructors took the first 5 or so minutes to explain each station. They also have screens with people demonstrating each move incase you forgot, that was nice to have.
We only had about a 20 second break between each which I think made the workout really tough. I didn't have time to really catch my breath and recover but I took longer when I needed to.
Another thing that slowed me down was my acid reflux. You can check out my story all about it here, but all of the jumping around caused my reflux to really act up, no fun! If I was feeling better I could have gone harder in the class.
The location we attended was a little far from my house but I wouldn't mind trying the class again. Here is where it is located if you ever want to try it and you are in my area.
Overall I would have to say that it was a really good class if you are looking for a challenge.
