The Daily Detox Habit You Have To Start Today
There is one thing I do every morning when I rise, after thanking God for another day of course. That is I drink a warm mug of lemon water. I drink this even before I have my first cup of coffee for the day. To be honest, I could even skip the coffee if I had to after drinking lemon water.
Lemon water has a ton of great benefits but the one I can feel immediately after drinking it is the detoxification properties. Basically it helps me go poop! Yep, I said it. This IS a wellness website so I am technically allowed to talk about poop.

Having a cup of warm lemon water in the morning helps me to feel light, refreshed and like I have a clean slate to start from for the day. It also helps to relieve any bloating or fullness I may be feeling from something I ate the night before.
Warm lemon water is super quick to prepare so I find that there is no excuse even when I am short on time. I actually like to use organic fresh squeezed bottled lemon juice when I don't have fresh lemons. It makes the process even faster and I reap the same benefits.
